NATCHEZ — Services for Rita Jean Jackson, 62, of Natchez, who died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Jackson was born Oct. 12, 1952, in Adams County, the daughter of Eddie Jackson Sr. and Lenora Curtis Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Juanita Jackson and Betty Mae “Dot” Jones; five brothers, Matthew Jackson, Joseph Woodfork, Roger Woodfork, Eddie Jackson Jr. and Keith Jackson; and one niece, LaTonya R. White.
Survivors include two sisters, Dawn Patricia Fleming and Lori Ann White, both of Natchez; six brothers, Henry W. Jones and wife, Helen, of St. Louis, Mo., Morris Jackson of Baton Rouge, Harold Curtis and wife, Irene, Michael Jackson, Ricky Jackson, all of Houston, and Charles Jackson and wife, Constance, of Norfolk, W. Va.; a special friend, Annette Washington of Vidalia; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
