Ms. Jeannie Ballew of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hinson of Branson, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Gena Britton Hinson to Howard Lee Jones IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lee Jones III of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson where she earned her radiography degree. She is employed by the Natchez After Hours Clinic.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ann Lum Ballew and the late Gene Ballew of Natchez and Mrs. Billie Faye Hinson and the late Edgar Ray Hinson of Denham Springs, La.

The groom-to-be is a also a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville and received his lumber inspector degree from NHLA in Memphis, Tenn. He is employed by J.M. Jones Lumber Company in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter S. Mullins Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. H. Lee Jones Jr., all of Natchez and Drs. Robert and Joyce Pickering of Dallas.

The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at Linden.
