NATCHEZ — Services for Elmerine Curtis Fleming, 77, of Natchez, who died Friday, July 31, 2015, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Earnest Ford Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Fleming was born July 9, 1928, in Adams County, the daughter of P.C. Curtis Sr. and Della Coin Curtis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Theodore Fleming Sr.; one son, Aldron Fleming; two sisters, Mertha Wilson and Eugenia Hunt; and two brothers, Rowan M. Curtis and P.C. Curtis II.
Survivors include a loving daughter, Cassandra Fleming Proby and husband, Albert Jr., of Jackson; one devoted son, Theodore Fleming Jr. and wife, Shelia; four grandchildren, Tia Fleming, Tamera Fleming, Denzel Fleming and Zacchaeus “Zack” Brown, all of Houston; three brothers, the Rev. Delorus Curtis and wife, Harmorline, of Houston, Joe Curtis of Hampton, Va., and Phillip Curtis and wife, Rosetta, of Newport News, Va.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
