BENOIT — Funeral services for Darrell James Forman, 43, of Benoit, who died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Greenville.
Burial will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., today at the church.
Darrell was born in Natchez where he graduated from high school. He then went to Mississippi State University before transferring to Delta State University where he received a Master’s degree in Business administration.
In August 1995 he married Terrell Turner and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his discharge in 1999 they made their home in Greenville where he was employed with Dawkins Marketing Service. Darrell was a member of First Baptist Church where he taught sunday School for 15 years and was a deacon. He was past president of the Washington School Board of Directors and had also served as PTO chairman. Darrell was known as a leader his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, son, Brett Forman of Benoit; two daughters, Kathleen Forman and Meredith Forman, both of Benoit; parents, E. J. and Lynnda Forman of Natchez; brother, Randy Forman of Natchez; grandmother, Ruby Caldwell of Houston, Texas; and an aunt and uncle; Rhonda and John Kelly Orso of Houston, Texas.
