NATCHEZ — Services for Janet Marie Byrnes, 50, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Riverland Medical Center, will be noon Friday at Christlife Church in Natchez with the Rev. David Hale and the Rev. Rick Gillespie officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Byrnes was born Dec. 29, 1964, in Ferriday, the daughter of Mac Ray Vestal and Rose Marie Vestal.

She was a member of Christlife Church.

Mrs. Byrnes was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, George “Spud” Byrnes; one son, Matthew Wayne Fontenot of Ferriday; two daughters, Kyndal Marie Fontenot and Cassey Michelle Byrnes, both of Ferriday; her mother of Vidalia; four brothers, Michael Ray Vestal and wife, Debra, of Texas, Charles Marvin Vestal of Clayton, Steve Vestal and wife, Joy, of Ferriday and Gary Vestal of Church Hill; one sister, Lana Jean Vestal of Vidalia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Howington, Joshua Douglas, Jordan Douglas, Trent Lemoine, Ronnie Jamison and Devon Gardner.
