FAYETTE — Services for Robert Leroy Walters Jr., 74, of Fayette, who died Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hollywood Baptist Church in Fayette, with the Rev. Leon Howard officiating.

Burial will follow at the Poplar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Walters was born Nov. 24, 1940, in Lorman, the son of Leroy and Sadie Foster Walters.

He was a faithful member of the Waterloo Baptist Church and served on the usher board. He was also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.

Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Burnell Walters Sr.

Survivors include a devoted wife, Senora Walters; two daughters, Kasandra Bailey and husband, Curtis, of Lorman and Dr. Jacqueline Walters and husband, Curtis, of Atlanta; one son, Terrell Walters and wife, Rebecca, of Fayette; four sisters, Mattie Liggins of Vicksburg, Shinley Walker of Terry, Marilyn J. Davis of Lancaster, Pa., and Lyndell Winston of Byram; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
