Submitted photo — Jim and Mary Lessley will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Stratton Chapel, 405 State St. The couple has three children, Jay Lessley and Joel Lessley and wife, Jennifer Cox Lessley, all of Natchez, and Elizabeth Lessley VanUden and husband, Bryan, of Kingwood, Texas. They have six grandchildren. The couple was married Aug. 29, 1965, at 2 p.m., at Gloster United Methodist Church. All friends and family are invited. No gifts, please.
