NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Rochell Owens Jackson, 57, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 3 p.m. today at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow at the Gospel Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 2 p.m. today until service time.

Ms. Jackson was born on Jan. 7, 1958, in Adams County to Mateal Owens Thompson and Robert Davis.

She was a member of the Star of Love Chapter 61.

She was preceded in death by her mother, husband, George Jackson Sr.; grandparents, Lee and Mary Owens, Alma Turner and Ella Mae Thompson.

Survivors include two sons, Rogerlin Dale Owens and Cedric Owens and wife, Jandrea; one daughter, Takeisha Owens and husband, Torey; a granddaughter she raised as her own, Takeria Owens, all of Natchez; three stepchildren, Sandra Bishop and husband, L.S., of Jackson, George Jackson Jr. and Eric Jackson; fathers, Robert Davis and wife, Dorothy, and Johnnie Thompson Sr.; four brothers, Johnny Thompson and wife, Sylvia, Danny Thompson and wife, Iola, Eric Davis and Dennis Williams and wife, Velma; three sisters, Sandra Wells, Jacqueline Hawkins and husband, Irvin, and Tammy Davis; one aunt, Georgia Martin and husband, Paris, all of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
