NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Celia “Doll” Mermelstein, 87, who died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, in Atlanta, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Natchez City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care in Atlanta.
Doll was born and raised in Natchez. She was an avid reader and doll collector.
She was a passionate fan of the Atlanta Braves, the New Orleans Saints, Louisiana State University and Peyton Manning.
Miss Mermelstein was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Lena Mermelstein and one brother, Leopold Mermelstein.
Survivors include one sister, Betty Rose Caldwell; four nephews, Martin and Morris Buchman and Morris and Scott Mermelstein; two nieces, Ivy Mermelstein Fulton and Lendy Buchman Fedors; and a number of great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
