NATCHEZ — Services for Helen Hunt Hoggatt, 79, of Natchez, who died Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hunt Cemetery in Kirby under the direction of Webb/Winfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Hoggatt was born Aug. 28, 1935, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Hunt.

She was a graduate of Alcorn State University and was employed by the Natchez-Adams School District and The Natchez Democrat.

Mrs. Hoggatt was a member of the Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church and served as president of the usher board.

Survivors include one son, Leo Hunt Sr. and two grandchildren, Fredaca Donald and Leo Hunt Jr.
