MORTON — Services for John Hutton Daniels, 70, of Forest, formerly of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones, will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Wolf Funeral Home Chapel in Morton.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Daniels was born Nov. 7, 1944, in Lena, La., the son of Roscoe Daniels and Irene Daniels Halford.

He was a graduate of Boyce High School in Boyce, La. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy from April 16, 1964 to June 10, 1968.

Mr. Daniels was certified as a motion picture operator in Pearl Harbor by Aug. 28, 1964.

He was preceded in death by one son, John Mark Daniels; his mother and stepfather, Riley Halford; and his father.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Walker Daniels; three daughters, Sequin Daniels Gardner and husband, Steve, Jessie Daniels Gutierrez and husband, Mauricio, and Amber Daniels; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alton Daniels of Natchez and Jessie Daniels of Pearl; six sisters, Thelma Daniels Blythe of Tennessee, Sue Daniels Craven of Pelahatchie, Charlotte Daniels Knight of Pearl, Carolyn Daniels Halford of Pearl, Ritha Daniels Mercer and Loriene Daniels Renfrow, both of Natchez.
