NATCHEZ — Services for Raymie Shelton Batteste, 50, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Augustine B. Williams; his father, Clarence Batteste and wife, Evelyn; one daughter, Jovann Shaver; one son, Marquis Washington; one brother, Derrick Von Batteste; one sister, Toshika Dhie and husband, Keforie; grandmother, Henrietta Batts James and husband, Henry; and a number of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
