Rory and Ashley Baker of Richwood, Texas announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Baker to Dylan Heard, son of Roger and Lisa Heard of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Brazoswood High School in Clute, Texas, and a graduate of Houston Dental Assistant School in Houston. She is employed by Frontier Industrial Corp. in Freeport, Texas.

She is the granddaughter of Thomas and Cathy Wafford of Katy, Texas, Stan and Susie Tyler of Lake Jackson, Texas and Glenn Patton of Clute, Texas.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He is also employed by Frontier Industrial Corp. in Freeport.

He is the grandson of the late Charles and Frances Hughes of Baton Rouge and Henry and Virginia Heard of Greenwood.

The wedding will be at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Lake Jackson Civic Center in Lake Jackson.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
