Britton Willard of Ferriday announces the engagement of her daughter, Frances Caroline Loomis to James G. Bradford, son of the late Horace and Patricia Bradford of Georgetown, La.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late William K. “Duke” Loomis III of Ferriday.

She is a graduate of Walker High School in Walker, La., and is a stay-at-home mom.

She is the granddaughter of the late Hewlett and Poppy Willard of Natchez and the late William K. Loomis II and Betty Grace Loomis of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Georgetown High School and is self-employed.

He is the grandson of the late Horace Bradford Sr. and Frances T. Bradford of Georgetown and the late Jake Boyette and Myrtle Boyette of Olla, La.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at The Gables in Vidalia.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
