FERRIDAY — Services for Donna Kay Ferrington Oliveaux, 50, who died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Dunbarton Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Dennis Baker officiating.

Burial will follow at the Cypress Grove Cemetery in Frogmore under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexandria, La.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday, both at the church.

Ms. Oliveaux had the most caring heart, filled with love and laughter. Her smile and humor touched a number of lives. She spent her adult life performing a God gifted talent of cosmetology.

She will be missed by all who loved her.

Ms. Oliveaux was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Virginia Oliveaux; her father, Cecil Ferrington; maternal grandparents, Bill and Lola Cowan; and paternal grandparents, Eldon and Alma Ferrington.

Survivors include three children, Charles Edward “Eddie” Dye, Kelcie Brooke Oliveaux and Dylan Mitchell Price; four grandchildren, Sophie Marie Rabb, Taylin Grace Netterville, Caden Grant Oliveaux and Riley Claire Price; her mother, Jeanette Ferrington; one brother, Charles Ferrington and wife, Tammy; and three nephews, Colby, Drew and Gabe Ferrington.

Pallbearers will be Brent McCarthy, Ethan Faulkner, William Tel Faulkner, Shane Walsworth, Justin Cowan and Brandon Walsworth.

Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Cowan and Darrell Cowan.
