FAYETTE — Services for Willie Kaho, 82, of Port Gibson, who died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. today at Jefferson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Anthony Colenburg officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Kaho was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Jefferson County, the son of William Henry Kaho and Emma Lewis Kaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosie Mae Gaines Kaho; and five siblings, Herman Kaho Sr., Benjamin Kaho, Sarah Kaho Day, Lettie Kaho Irvin and Henry Kaho Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Kaho Lowe and husband, Carl; one grandson, Carlton Lowe Sr.; one great-grandson, Carlton Lowe Jr.; one sister, Lottie Mae Kaho, all of Natchez; three sisters-in-law, Fannie Gaines Thompson, Janie Gaines Gaylor of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Jennie Gaines of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
