WILDSVILLE, La. — Services for Durwana Wiley, 73, of Wildsville, who died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, in Jackson, surrounded by her loving family, in the midst of prayer and worship, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, at The Pentecostals of Jonesville in Jonesville with the Rev. Richard Motes officiating and the Rev. Mike Deville and founding pastor’s wife Norma Deville co-officiating.

Burial will follow at Evangeline Baptist Church Cemetery in Wildsville.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. Monday until service time Tuesday at the church.

Durwana was born March 9, 1942 to Rodger and Hattie Duck.

Her passion was her family and her church. She was a prayer warrior, full of faith, with a deep walk with God. Her life was an example and testimony to all.

She will be greatly missed, but there is joy in knowing she is rejoicing with her loved ones and the saints of old who have gone before.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dallas Owen Wiley; her parents; brothers, John Duck and Earl Duck and sisters, Laverne Cater and Bobbie Nichols.

She is survived by two daughters, Penny Denise Jones of Jonesville and Melwana Sallie Motes and husband, Richard, of Lufkin, Texas; three sons, Timothy Rex Wiley and wife, Joyce, Roger Owen Wiley and son Mike Shelton Wiley, all of Jonesville; grandchildren, Vangie , Becky, Trey, Joel, Andrew, Josh, C.J. MaKayla and Samantha;  great-grandchildren Madeline, Lincoln, Jacob and Gabriel; one sister Sue Jernigan of Jonesville and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Craig Bland, Trey Motes, Joel Motes, Andrew Motes, Sam Terrell and Josh Vance.
