NATCHEZ —Natchez police are warning residents to be on the lookout for two men who have been burglarizing cars.

NPD Detective Jerry Ford said the department received nine reports of vehicle burglaries Friday morning.

The burglaries were in the areas of Park Place, Somerset Drive, Jefferson Davis Boulevard and John Glenn Avenue.

“We’ve got reports of two white men going around town, just pulling on car doors,” Ford said. “Whenever they find a door open, they are taking stuff out of people’s cars.”

Ford said the public should be aware of the burglaries and should lock their vehicle doors.
