RIDGECREST — Memorial services for Jimmy Orville McCarty, 65, of Ridgecrest, who died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, in Ridgecrest, will be 3 p.m. today at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island.

Jimmy Orville McCarty was born on March 10, 1950 to DJ and Betty McCarty of Cash Bayou.

Jimmy was a resident of Ridgecrest. He was retired after working as a welder and pipefitter for many years. He was an avid squirrel hunter but most of all loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Randy McCarty.

Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Katina McCarty Case and husband, Kevin, of Clayton, and Jennifer McCarty of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Aubrey Cain Lipsey and Rylee Renee Case; two brothers, Charles Wayne McCarty and wife, Carolyn, of Denham Springs, and George McCarty of Denham Springs; and a sister, Brenda Kay Nicholson and husband, Larry, of Seneca, S.C.
