Dorothy Gaylor along with the Amos Polk’s Voices of Hope choir perform one of their annual concerts at the Carriage House Restaurant. Every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday throughout Fall Pilgrimage the choir performs starting at 7:30 p.m. after a dinner at 6:45 p.m. They perform mostly gospel music, but mix in folk and patriot songs. From left, Billie Brown, Georgiann Freeman, Marquez Christmas, Sonny Freeman, Diane Mostiler, Harold Jones, Dorothy Gaylor and Linda Long sing during the Amos Polk’s Voices of Hope Choir’s performance. In the middle of the performance members of the choir invited audience members up to perform a couple songs with them. One of the main staples of the performance was getting the audience involved with clapping, foot stomping and singing. (Sam Gause / The Natchez Democrat)
