NATCHEZ —  Services for Marie Parsons O’Quinn, 87, of Natchez, who died Saturday Oct. 3, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez Community Campus, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.

Burial will follow at Fayette Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. O’Quinn was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Franklin County to William Francis Parsons and Blanche Smith Parsons.

She was a retired public school cafeteria manager for many years.

Mrs. O’Quinn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas O’Quinn Jr.; one grandson, Louis Willard; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include five daughters, Edith O’Quinn, Linda Foster and husband, Bill, Ruthie Baker and husband, Keene, Carolyn Wadsworth and husband, Alan, and Jenny Guedon; three sons, Jeff O’Quinn and wife, Ella Grace, Frank O’Quinn and wife, Kathy, and Luther O’Quinn and wife, Lynda; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four sisters; five brothers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
