NATCHEZ — Graveside services for James Gary Gilbert Jr., 60, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Willie Ellis officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Gary was born Feb. 12, 1955, in New Orleans, the adopted son of James G. Gilbert Sr. and Betty Jo McDonald Gilbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Grady McDonald and Faye McDonaled Middleton.

Survivors include his stepfather and stepmother, Ray and Sandra Lang; one stepbrother, Rod Lindsey and wife, Stephanie, and their children, Hayden Ryan and Alli Lindsey, all of Natchez; two cousins, Gwen Young and husband, Jim, of Natchez and Faye Ann Waldrop of New Orleans.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Charles Borum, Sammy Lee and the Adams County Road Department.
