NATCHEZ — A McComb woman was charged Monday and a Franklin County man is wanted for reportedly stealing items from a building that recently burned on U.S. 84 in Adams County.
Chandra Nycole Dillard, 34, 1240 Parklane Road, was charged with petit larceny and willful trespassing, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported in a news release.

An ACSO deputy allegedly found Dillard and Fleming at 165 U.S. 84 Monday morning at a building that had recently burned and been burglarized.
The deputy reportedly found scrap batteries and burned items from the building in the trunk of the vehicle in which Dillard and Fleming occupied.
Fleming then fled on foot toward Jones Road. Deputies searched the area but did not find Fleming.
Dillard was arrested at the scene, and two children with her were released into the custody of a family member.
