CENTREVILLE — Services for Barbara Floyd Ross, 75, of Wilson, La., who died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, La., will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Newman Funeral Home Chapel in Centreville with the Rev. Marc Gregoire officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ross was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Centreville, the daughter of Hilton B. Floyd and Elma Beattie Floyd Pettit.
She was a retired registered nurse for Field Memorial Hospital and East Louisiana State Hospital. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Wilson, La.
Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Ross; and two brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Ross of Wilson, Crystal Craft of Ferriday and Kristy Purvis Stewart and husband, E.J., of Baton Rouge; four sons, Bruce Ross and wife, Tracy, of Natchez, Michael Ross and wife, Rachael, of Crosby, Jeffery Ross and Leslie Parker, both of Ferriday, and Carlos Floyd of Wilson; one sister, Sandra Sojourner and husband, Jack, of Kingston; and 13 grandchildren, Garrett Ross, Carl “Brandon” Ross, Sara Ross, Kelsey Craft, Peyton Craft, Adalyn Boyd, Dawson Parker, Keaton Ross, Makayla Purvis, Carley Floyd, Callie Floyd, Jacob Floyd and Kaden McGhee.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ross, Peyton Craft, Kevin Craft, Hayden Newman, Dayne Day and Don Havard.
