NATCHEZ — Services for Annie Mae Christmas, 88, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Egypt Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth E. Stanton officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home in Jackson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Martin Luther King Road, and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Sunday at Egypt Baptist Church.
Ms. Christmas was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Natchez, the daughter of the Rev. James W. “Jimmie” Christmas and Rosie Pearl Christmas.
She was preceded in death by parents; one daughter, Betty Elaine Christmas; and a number of siblings.
Survivors include four daughters, Irma Fakes, Jonetta Williams, Mary Ann Christmas Johnson, all of Natchez, and Jerry Johnson of Washington, D.C.; one son, Mack Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Charles “Manny” Christmas of New Orleans; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
