Get your bras ready for annual event

It’s that time again! The third annual Bras On The Bluff is on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As a cancer survivor, the fight to save lives from this insidious disease is very real to me. With a portion of the proceeds from this event, Team Tatas provides mammograms plus readings to two Miss-Lou residents.

Please help us to help others by participating on Nov. 7. Challenge classmates, co-workers, businesses or friends to decorate a bra (or bras) to be hung on the fence at the bluff. There is a donation of $2 to hang your creation.

The bra(s) may be taken to the Adams County Sanitation Department, 307 Market St. or The Gillon Group, 522 Main St. before the event. If you would like, bring your decorated bra with you on Nov. 7 to the bluff behind the Natchez Grand. Be sure to get you friends and family to come by and “stuff” the ballot box for a fee of $1 a vote for your bra. The winning entry will win a prize.

Again this year, we have wonderful items to be raffled. The raffle tickets are $5 each. These tickets give you a chance to win over $6,000 in prizes. There are wonderful businesses that have been so generous by providing these great prizes. Raffle tickets are available now and at the event.

Broadway will be blocked off for this free event. There will be a jumpy for the children and live music for all. The Butt Hutt will have a variety of food and drinks for purchase. T-shirts, beer and other items, not on the raffle tickets will be for sale.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and join us for this wonderful event. Let’s give back together!
