BROOKHAVEN — Memorial services for Carroll R. “C.R.” Crosby, 75, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Riverwood Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Crosby’s ashes will be laid to rest according to his wishes.

Mr. Crosby was born April 14, 1940, the son of Burton E. Crosby and Mildred Aldridge Crosby.

He was a retired driller with Energy Drilling.

Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by one daughter, Catherine Crosby; his parents; five brothers, David Crosby, Edwin Crosby, Burton E. Crosby Jr., Wilmer Crosby and Pat Crosby; and one sister, Billie Sue Waltman.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Crosby and wife, Laura, Gary Crosby and wife, Tammy, and Mark Crosby and wife, Robin; one daughter, Rachel Russell and husband, John Paul; one brother, Mike Crosby and wife, Glenda; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
