NATCHEZ — Services for Levester “Knuckles” “Billy” Gaylor, 81, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ God’s Son with the Rev. Samuel Watkins officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Gaylor was born June 25, 1934, the son of Steve Gaylor Sr. and Dora Gaylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and seven sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Beverly S. Gaylor; one sister, Annie Mae Shepherd; two daughters, Keither Brown and husband, Chester, and Linda Sylvester and husband, John, all of Natchez; two granddaughters, Crystal Burns and husband, Buck, and Chestiny Brown; two grandsons, JeDarrentin Smith and Chester “Tré” Brown III; and a number of other family members and in-laws.
