VIDALIA — A Concordia Parish student was transported to an area hospital Monday after a minor traffic incident involving a school bus.

Concordia Parish Superintendent of Schools Paul Nelson said the wreck happened near the school board office on U.S. 84 near Vidalia when the driver of a truck apparently pulled out in front of a school bus.

No one was injured in the incident, but one student was taken for treatment after having a seizure.

The student in question has a history of seizures, Nelson said.

The other students were sent home, he said.
