NATCHEZ — Services for Vernon B. Lee Jr., 90, of Southaven, formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at The Highlands of Memphis, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Lee was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Hattiesburg, the son of Vernon B. Lee Sr. and Birdie H. Lee.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include one son, Sammy Lee and wife, Zelle, of Southaven; one daughter, Karen King and husband, Cris, of Durham, N.C.; one brother, Lesley Lee of Hattiesburg; one sister, Anna Belle Byrd of Mobile, Ala.; and four grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan, Evan and Daniel.

Pallbearers will be Don Hicks, Chuck Binns, James Green, Jack Chance, Jerry Herring and Jim Williams.
