ROXIE — Services for Julius Lee Hunt, 64, of Houston, who died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at his residence, will be 2 p.m. today at East Roxie Church of Christ in Roxie with the Rev. Frank Jenkins Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Hunt was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Roxie, the son of A.J. Hunt and Ethel Ree Hunt.

He was a member of the Kirby West Hunting Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ella Marie Rogers.

Survivors include his wife, Doloris Jones Hunt; five children, Keysha Glover, Crystal Reynolds, both of Natchez, Jizette Hunt of Montgomery, Ala., Jivarre Hunt of Fayette and Julius Hunt Jr. of Houston; eight sisters, Rose Jenkins, Dorothy Hunt, Norma Hunt, Bonita Hunt, all of Roxie, Johnnie Hunt of Bude, Laura Edney of McCall Creek, Sherry Smith of Deridder, La., and Doretha Singleton of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
