NATCHEZ — Services for Robert “Moody” Marshall, 86, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Milford Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life service at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Marshall was born June 20, 1929, in Jefferson County, the son of Clarence and Ruth Marshall.

He was retired from Adams County Water Association.

Robert was a member of Milford Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Linwood Society.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Edna Lee Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Marshall; three sons, Alonza Rogers and wife, Evetta, Douglas Rogers and Carl Wayne Rogers and wife, Saundra; one daughter, Lisher J. Rogers; two brothers, Clarence Marshall Jr. and Walter Marshall; a devoted cousin, Ralph Patterson; nine grandchildren, Taylia Rogers, Brianna Davis, Chantelle Rogers, Raven Jacobs, Elijah Mathis, Dante Stanton, Carl Rogers Jr., Jared Rogers and Jarrell Rogers; one great-grandchild, Jasmine Pork; and a number of other relatives and friends.
