NATCHEZ — Services for Joseph “Slick” Saucier, 67, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Baptist Church with Paul Southerland officiating.12_1 JosephSaucier obitpic

Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Louisiana under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday, both at the church.

Mr. Saucier was born Feb. 21, 1948, in Natchez, the son of Edward Saucier Sr. and Mary Louise Saucier.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Ida Saucier, Rose McCranie and Mary Louise Wilson; and one brother, Billy Saucier.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Carolyn Haney Saucier; two children, Joey Saucier and Jennifer Saucier Holmes; three grandchildren, Emily Dawn Holmes, Cheyenne Elizabeth Saucier and Madeline Lynn Saucier; one grandson, Edward F. Saucier Jr.; one great-grandchild, Makennah Nyelle Holmes; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Macky Nations, Michael Nations, Joey Saucier, Donnie Haney, David Langbehn, Anthony Monk, Kyle Nations and Donnie Short.
