FERRIDAY — Services for Mary Lyles Anderson, 85, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Theodore Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Natchez, the daughter of Jack and Evelina Williams Lyles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Retar “Leto” Anderson; one son, Willie White; and one daughter, Georgia White.

Survivors include one son, James White Jr. and wife, Deloyd, of Ferriday; two daughters, Marie Yearby and husband, Willie, of Vidalia and Alberta White of Ferriday; one brother, Charles Lyles of Ferriday; four sisters, Carrie Lyles, Evelina Cage, Margaret Jones and Surnetta Cage, all of Vidalia; one stepdaughter, Rose Anderson of Ferriday; one half-sister, Adesta Stevenson of Ferriday; two sisters-in-law, Inell Lyles of Natchez and Melvin Bloodsaw of Jonesville; 19 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
