The Operation G.R.I.T.S. troops were amassed at the Reed Insurance office on Carter Street in Vidalia for a packing party. Their mission was to pack more than 500 boxes with snacks, books, magazines, toiletries, candy, personal notes and more to send to soldiers overseas.
