WATERPROOF — Services for Onia Bottley Beverly, 80, of Natchez, formerly of Waterproof, who died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Michael Reed officiating.

Burial will follow at Consurella Cemetery on Lake St. John in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Beverly was born March 21, 1935, in Waterproof, the daughter of Horace and Jennie Williams Holmes.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. James Beverly of Natchez; five sons, Jerry Bottley and wife, Debbie, Edward Bottley and wife, Patricia, and Earl Bottley, all of Waterproof, Willie Bottley and Jerome Bottley of Atlanta; three daughters, Onia Rogers and husband, Lee, of Hammond, La., Gayle Miles and husband, Byran, of Byram and Kim Bottley of Waterproof; one brother, Wilbert Holmes and wife, Tina; four sisters, Alberta Skinner and husband, Fred, Juanita Holmes, Francis Holmes and Vera Holmes, all of Houston; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
