NATCHEZ — After suffering from two recent strokes, Natchez Mayor Butch Brown says he is in good health and is expected to make a full recovery.

Brown recently suffered two light strokes, one before his recent trip to Paris, France, and one shortly after he returned in mid-December. He was hospitalized in Jackson.

Brown said he anticipates a full recovery with proper rehab programs and attention to a better physical activity and health program.

“My warnings have been to control stress, eat properly, get rest and put together a program of activity,” Brown wrote in an email. “Maybe an admonition to slow down.”
