WESSON — Funeral services for Blanch Alean Smith, 88, of Wesson, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Kings Daughters Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the Church.

She was born on June 11, 1927 to George and Hermie Lewis.

She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Smith Jr.; brothers, Arthur Lewis and Norman Lewis and sister, Hermie Lewis.

Survivors include her sons, Paul Smith and Michael Smith; daughters, Peggy Smith Taylor and Theresa Lumley; brothers, J.G. Lewis and Claude Lewis; sister, Margie Curtis; 10 grandchildren, Chris Smith Granger, Jason Smith, Brian Smith, Tristen Smith Bowen, Emily Hart McKinley, Scott Smith, Delaney Smith, Tyler Lumley, Patrick Lumley, Brandon Lumley; 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
