NATCHEZ — Qualifying for Natchez’s municipal elections begins today.

Races up for grabs are the Natchez mayor’s seat, aldermen for the city’s six wards and municipal judge.

Qualifying will last until March 10.

The primary election will be May 10. If a runoff election is needed, it will be May 26.

The general election is scheduled for June 7.
