NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Wilda O. Martin, 89, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Martin was born June 26, 1926, in Natchez, the daughter of Arthur Earl Smith and Katherine Bennett Smith.

She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Eva Smith; three grandsons, Bill Welsh Jr., Robert Harrigill and Charlie Harrigill; one sister, Flor Sheppers; and two brothers, Elmer L. Smith and Earl Smith.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Harrigill and husband, Charles, of Natchez; one son, Jim Martin and wife, Cindy, of Batesville; one sister, Shelia Calhoun of Shreveport, La.; Terry Gross and wife, Robin, of Batesville; three great-grandsons, Tyler Harrigill, Ryan Harrigill and Michael Welsh; two great-granddaughters, Gracelyn Gross and Emmalee Gross; two special daughters, Sandra Crane and Diane Loftus; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Elmer Smith Jr., Elmer Smith III, Sammy Smith, Robin Harrigill, Chad Fuqua and Carl Fuqua.
