Thompson’s hat trick lifts ACCS past Manchester

NATCHEZ — Cristofer Thompson poured in three goals en route to helping lift Adams County Christian School past Manchester Academy 3-1 in boys soccer action Wednesday night.

Thompson recorded his scores in the 38th, 44th and 58th minute of the game.

Alex McCready chipped in with six saves.

Due to the efforts of Thompson and McCready, the Rebels led 1-0 at halftime and 3-0 late in the game before allowing a score.

With the win, ACCS improves its record to 10-3.

Adams County Christian will be back in action at 1 p.m. Saturday when it hosts Central Hinds.
