NATCHEZ — A Fayette man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly robbing a Magnolia Bluffs Casino employee at gunpoint in the casino parking garage.
William Hill, 31, was charged with armed robbery early Wednesday morning.
A Natchez Police Department report indicates a female casino employee had just entered her car after leaving work when a man began beating on her car window.
Hill allegedly then opened the car door and pointed a handgun at the woman, demanding her purse and keys and threatening to kill her. The victim reportedly gave the items to Hill.
Another employee who was walking to their car allegedly saw what was happening, at which point Hill allegedly fled the scene. The employees called 911.
Officers were dispatched to the casino just after 2 a.m. and located and detained Hill based on the victim’s identification.
Hill was being held Thursday at the Natchez City Jail without bond.
