“My guys came out (Wednesday) and played very aggressive against of the teams from the bigger division,” ACCS coach Jim Bob Allgood said. “All of my players got to see playing time, and as a coach, I’m glad to see that occur.”

A typical scoring threat, Chris Thompson demonstrated his versatility as he dished out three assists in the win. Goalie Chris McCready added 12 saves.

Adams County Christian led at the half 3-1.

Brian Duong then gave the Rebels the cushion they were looking for with a goal in the 48th minute.

ACCS will be back in action at 5:30 p.m. today when it hosts Cathedral High School.
