FERRIDAY — Services for Jamaal Stacker, 34, of Laplace, La., formerly of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, La., will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will follow at Mount Mariah Church Cemetery in Frogmore under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Stacker was born May 25, 1981, in Ferriday, the son of William Green and Marilyn Stacker Keller.

Survivors include his father of Ferriday; his mother of New Orleans; two sons, Jamaal Jr. and Malcolm; his companion, Ariel Smith; three daughters, Zhamari and Symone, all of Laplace, and Samiah of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Johnathan Stacker and Jhamaar Green, both of Ferriday, and Maalik of Portland; four sisters, Ayeesha Green and Mikahlah Green, both of Ferriday, Aliyah Green of Portland and Ameerah Green of Las Vegas; three nieces; one nephew; and a number of cousins.
