NATCHEZ — Services for Ernest “Mr. Jr.” Klar Jr., 92, of Rosetta, who died Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at the Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jackson, La., will be 2 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rosetta Cemetery in Rosetta.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Ernest was born Feb. 22, 1923, the son of Ernest Klar Sr. and Melinda Victoria Klar.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.

Survivors include Margaret Greer Klar; two sons, Ernest Darwin Klar and his wife, Judy Caldwell; Tommy Jack Klar and his wife, Bolinda Floyd; and one daughter, Margie Ann Klar Randleman and her husband, Ronald; six grandchildren, Jackie Lynn Klar, Tommy Jack “Bubba” Klar Jr., Melinda Klar, Kristopher Caldwell Klar, Kevin Michael Klar and Patrick Murray Klar; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his six grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are Cavin Greer and David Wayne Williams.
