NATCHEZ — Misfortunate furry friends need some help from Natchez residents.
The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society is looking for volunteers for a variety of shelter jobs, including dog walking, tending to the front desk, cleaning and socializing shy cats and dogs.
An orientation workshop will be held at 2:30 p.m. the first Saturday of each month at the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society Shelter at 475 Liberty Road.
The first orientation will be this Saturday.
Humane Society personnel ask local residents to consider giving at least one hour a week to help the needy cats and dogs in the community.
