NATCHEZ — Services for Percy Roy Rice, 64, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Milford Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Alsworth officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Rice was born Dec. 17, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Floyd Rice Jr. and Pearline Johnson Rice.

He attended Natchez-Adams public schools and was retired from The Blain Company. He was also a member of Milford Baptist Church, MBPFB Society and LF&C Society.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie B. Rice; one daughter, LaSonya Morgan Barker; one son, Eric Morgan; two granddaughters, DeAdra LaShae Morgan and Danielle Barker; one grandson, LaJairien Morgan; one brother, Ernest Johnson and wife, Ollie, of Chicago; three sisters, Rosie L. Woods, Velma Rice McCray and husband, Wilbert, and Dora Rice Stanton, all of Natchez; two uncles; five aunts; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
