BUDE — Services for Richard Wilkinson, 79, of Meadville, who died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be noon Saturday at Christ Temple Church with the Rev. Willie Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel in Bude and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Wilkinson was born Oct. 23, 1936, in Amite County, the son of Guy and Lola Mae Cobb Wilkinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Joyce Rice; and three brothers, George Wilkinson, Wilbert Wilkinson and Guycell Wilkinson.

Survivors include five sisters, Gloria Huff, Audrey McGehee and husband, Eugene, Lucille Dillon and husband, Charles, Pearline Watkins and husband, Samuel, and Maeola Bates and husband, Kenneth; two brothers, Edward Wilkinson Sr. and wife, Sylvia, and Billy Wilkinson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
