NATCHEZ — Services for Rosie M. Jackson Shelly, 56, who died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Lagrange Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Shelly was preceded in death by her parents, James “Bubba” Thomas Sr. and Carrie Mae Davis; her husband, Abe Shelly; one sister; and one brother.

Survivors include three sons, Cedric Jackson Sr. and wife, Asya, of Euless, Texas, Gene Droomgoole and Phillip Droomgoole of Natchez; six brothers; three aunts; two uncles; nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
