NATCHEZ — Services for David Keith Jackson, 59, of Mobile, Ala., formerly of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in Mobile, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson was born July 3, 1956, in Ferriday, the son of G.D. Jackson and Jeannette Chavers Jackson.

He worked in the oil and gas industry since 1975. He was the former director of the Jaycees and past board member of Panola Woods Country Club.

Mr. Jackson was an avid golfer and hunter.

Keith was loved by so many people throughout his life. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was an inspiration to anyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Holly Elizabeth Jackson; grandparents; and father-in-law, L.W. Laird Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Laird Jackson of Mobile and Natchez; two daughters, Stephanie Jackson Sturdivant and husband, David, of Columbia, S.C., and Karen Jackson Bishop and husband, Greg, of Canton; one stepdaughter, Lindsey Middleton England and husband, Chase, of Birmingham, Ala.; one stepson, Wells Middleton and wife, Lacey, of Natchez; five grandchildren, Audrey, Brooks and Anna Leigh Bishop of Canton and Brooks and Madison England of Birmingham; one sister, Priss Jackson Bryant and husband, Tom, of Natchez; three brothers, Gene Jackson and wife, Erin, Craig Jackson and wife, Angela, all of Ferriday, and Jeff Jackson and wife, Jan, of Pascagoula; mother-in-law, Lora Laird of Natchez; two brothers-in-law, Randy Laird of Natchez and Bruce Laird and wife, Nancy, of Vidalia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Risher, Andy Black, Mark Mattox, Ben Smith and Barry Smith.

Memorials may be made to Cliff Temple Baptist Church Building Fund or Morgantown Baptist Church.
